Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian actress and musician most well known for her performance in Tamil as well as Malayalam films. Her debut as an actress was the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has been raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's father was an Madras High Court lawyer. There is a younger sister who resides in Leuven Belgium as a research assistant. Jeremiah hails from Chennai. She attended National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a the classical piano at eighteen, was called a "geek" and was aspiring to be a psychiatric until her board exam in 12th grade. Young Stars, a Jackson Five-style band she was a part of when she was 10 years old, was her starting point for her singing as well as composing music. Also, she was a theatre performer in the college she attended and was a part of several productions staged in collaboration with The Madras Players and EVAM. Andrea was the President of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's acting career began with Girishkarnad Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's Leo Coffee commercial was with Shiva. She was also the actor in a Podhigai's TV series. The actress has acted across India. She was briefly featured in Kanda Mudhal's final scene (2005). She sang for Gautham Vasudev's Vettaiyaadu. He asked her to join his lead female characters on Pachaikili Muthucharam. The film was an adaptation of the novel by James Siegel Derailed with Andrea as Kalyani an aspiring homemaker, who's husband is involved in a sexual affair and gets threatened with blackmail. Andrea was selected to play the character after actors Simran Shobana and Tabu were invited to audition for the film. The film premiered at the start of 2010. The film was released in early 2010. the role of a support as Venkat Prabhu, who starred in Mankatha. It came out on the 11th of August the 11th of August, 2011. Her Malayalam film debut with Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
