April Bowlby is an American model and actress. Her most well-known role is that of Kandi on the CBS comedy series Two and a Half Men Stacy Barrett on Drop Dead Diva and Rita Farr on Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actor who is best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American legal comedy drama/fantasy TV series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. Her first job was modeling, then films and TV shows. After appearing as an additional in the series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and single-episode roles in several different shows, her first role on the screen was CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Her breakout role was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby gained international recognition with her Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. She played Rita Farr/Elastigirl. She was a frequent character on the American series Titans. In the spin-off that will be called Doom Patrol, she will return to the character. Bowlby appeared in TV movies such as Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. Following her appearance on screen in The Slammin Salmon (which was her debut feature), and From Prada, to Nada she made her debut on big screens with All Roads Lead Home. While studying drama with Ivana Chubb, she landed an important part (Kandi on Two and a Half Men) in the first few months of making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby was a guest star in a variety of TV shows, including CSI: NY featuring Jenny Lee and Freddie (as Sydney) in 2005. In addition, she starred as Meg in How I Met Your Mother. Bowlby appeared as Natasha recently on All Roads Lead Home, film from 2007. It is which follows a young girl who loses her mother due to an automobile accident. Bowlby stars as Mia on The Slammin Salmon, a comedy movie due to release in the year 2008. The actress lives with her family in Los Angeles. The redhead has blue eyes. She's a single mother of no children.
